Living and working in Danville, KY - Anne Crawford is a serious and passionate painter with a particular fascination with painting people and animals .
She attended Murray State University, majoring in Art. A professional portrait painted since 1989, her many years of experience has given her an innate ability to portray her subjects' likeness with feeling and light. Anne's traditional portraiture style ranges from softly realistic to impressionistic.
Anne worked as a designer for Ceramichrome-DecoArt for nine years. She is also the artist for Historical Medical Art, having completed 22 paintings to date historical medical scenes and published as limited edition prints.
The artist's commissions have included judges, deans, show horses, thoroughbred and dogs, but primarily portraits of children. Her fine art hangs inb numerous private and corporate collections across the United States
